“I grew up in a poor home, my father could’t afford a TV” – Muyiwa Ademola

Ace Nollywood actor Muyiwa Ademola popularly known as Muyiwa Authentic has shared his grass to grace story while reminiscing on his childhood and how far he has come in life.

The actor who is a year older today could not help but think back to the days he was growing up with his family and all they could afford were the basics, and not even all of the basics.

According to Mr Authentic, his father never owned a motorcycle talk more of a car, it took them several years to afford a TV since they couldn’t even afford electricity.

“I grew up in one of the ‘slumest’ slums in Ibadan… our only means of electricity was a local lamp which supplied the needed light”

He also revealed that he was only able to further his education thirteen years after secondary school!

Muyiwa is however grateful that today, despite his very humble beginnings, he has become a man celebrated by many!
